Shenzhen East Overseas Chinese Town, built by Overseas Chinese Town Group with RMB 3.50 billion, located at Dameisha of Shenzhen and covering an area of approximately 9km2, is a national ecological tourism sample area taking “let city people back to nature” as tenet and cultural tourism as feature.
Between sea and mountains, Shenzhen East Overseas Chinese Town artfully programs the three theme areas, i.e. the Daxia Valley, the Chaxi Valley and the Yunhai Valley, and integrates dynamic ecology, vocation, outdoor sports etc and indicates the harmonic co-existence of human and nature.
Phase 1 of Shenzhen East Overseas Chinese Town started trial operation grandly on July 28, 2007. The Chaxi Valley that combines the Chinese and the Western cultures and shows such main factors as “Tea, Zen, Flower and Bamboo” etc, the Yunhai Valley that focuses on Olympic military sports and golf and the Interlaken OCT Hotel, the SPA, the Buddhism party, the 1st International Mountainous Song Party etc showed wonderfully. Phase 2 of henzhen East Overseas Chinese Town, the Daxia Valley includes eight tourist sites taking the takes “Forest, Sunshine, Ground, River and Space” as main elements, Highfield Red Wine Town and Guan Yin Sitting in Lotus etc and will show people perfectly in 2008.
