China has sent several flights to bring back Chinese citizens stranded in Thailand since November 29 and nearly 2000 stranded Chinese and tourists have been brought home safely by the charted flights by November 30. According to some travel agences in Hebei, three tourists stranded in Thailand had been brought back safely to Shijiazhuang at Noon yesterday.

   According to relevant people from Kanghui International Travel Agency in Hebei, these three tourists took off in the night of November 29 and arrived at Beijing International Airport safely at about 1:30am on 30th. After a small rest, they arrived at Shijiazhuang at about 11:00am on 30th by train. These three tourists are all old people, one man and two women. They enter for traveling in the middle of January. Detailed schedule is leaving for Bangkok from Beijing for scenery and then going on to Singapore and Malaysia. When the turbulence in Bangkok exploded, their schedule were halted for safety and they were protected properly by the travel agency. After Chinese flights arrived at Thailand, they were took back to Beijing immediately by the charted flight. The travel agency said, due to the good arrangement of journey, tourists did not feel any tensity or panic. But because of the age, they feel tired after a long journey. Now, they are resting at home.

   At the same time, the travel agency said, by yesterday afternoon, there are still 29 tourists who had missed the first charted flight for some reason stranded in Pattaya Thailand. These 29 tourists are all from Handan. When the turbulence exploded, they were visiting in Thailand, so they were safe. By now, they have been arranged properly and will come back home on 29^th immediately after the subsequent charted flight arrived in Thailand. The relevant people from the travel agency said, they were negotiating with the travel agency in Thailand to return part of the traveling expenses trying to minimize the loss of tourists.

   Now, the travel agencies in Hebei have completely stopped the operation of traveling in Thailand. Some insider said, Thailand takes a big proportion in the traveling business in southeast, but recently the disturbed social situation affected seriously this market. Even though this event ends some day later, the travel agencies will still be cautious to send tourists there.
